- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Denton Municipal Electric is a monopoly that does not get input from the citizen-owners on how the "business" should run. Several of their upper management have resigned or been fired recently, and hopefully a large-scale investigation will happen that reveals the deceit that occurred while contracting for a new gas-fired power plant that the citizens do not want. In our city, four city council people actively and knowingly circumvented allowing citizens to vote on incurring $260 million + debt - Kevin Roden, Kathleen Wazny, Dalton Gregory and Joey Hawkins ignored hundreds of people who wrote letters and emails, attended council meetings, and spoke out against the new pollution center.By Felicia Coleman, July 06, 2017
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆These people are crooks. They run the only electric in town so they will happily take your money, cut off your power and then extort you for exorbetant fees and nonsense.
